Övertorneå municipality is looking for care assistants, nurses and assistant nurses to work in the public healthcare sector. You will work with elderly people and people with disabilities. This is the perfect place to combine your studies with an active life. You have a wide range of both practical and theoretical courses and programs to choose from. You can study through a university without having to attend campus. Become a nurse, take courses in meänkieli, and more, through distance learning. In Pajala you have Lapplands Lärcentra, which offers education for adults and Swedish language studies.
Övertorneå has Utbildning Nord with many practical programs like electrician, chef, carpentry, and more. You can also find Tornedalens Folkhögskola, a folk high school, in Övertorneå that offers a nature guide program and meänkieli for beginners. You can study Swedish at the Lärcentra in Övertorneå.
